DIMAPUR— The Kohima District Task Force (DTF) for immunisation held a meeting for routine immunisation and MR drive in the conference hall of the deputy commissioner’s office in Kohima on Friday.
A DIPR report stated that the district programme officer of RCH/UIP, Dr. Khrievilhou Nakhro, has highlighted on the action taken following the last DTFI meeting and updated on MR elimination.
Senior medical officer (WHO), Dr. Sheila Longkumer, informed the members about the performance of routine immunization, while a short briefing on school health and wellness programme was delivered by programme officer of MCGL India Yash Jhpiego, Dr. Onno Jamir.
[bsa_pro_ad_space id=1]During the meeting, update on school health and wellness programme in the district was highlighted by the district education officer, Emilo Patton, while topics on maternal, pre-natal, child death surveillance and response (MPCDSR) were highlighted by IB-Gyn, NHAK.
The meeting wrapped up with the closing remarks delivered by the deputy commissioner of Kohima, Shanavas C.
The meeting was attended by the officials from KMC, Rotary Club, WHO, NMC, UNICEF, IAP, UNDP and medical officer from Urban PHC Kohima.
