Kohima District Congress Covid Sevak assists vaccination drive

Kohima, June 18 (EMN): To help citizens, who haven’t availed Covid vaccine due to various reasons, get the jabs, the Kohima District Congress Covid Sevak initiated a registration camp in Kohima on Friday.
Officials from the Congress Covid Sevak informed Eastern Mirror that more than 20 persons, including youth and the elderly have come forward and submitted their details at the Congress Bhavan in Kohima.
The ongoing registration camp will be conducted on all weekdays between 9 am and 12 noon at Congress Bhavan.
It was informed that the initiative was taken up to facilitate people who don’t use smartphone, and those who don’t know how to operate mobile phones, to book slots for Covid vaccination.
Meanwhile, Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee has informed the party would distribute dry rations to needy people in and around the state capital city on the occasion of Rahul Gandhi’s 51st birthday on Saturday.
It was informed that some needy people have already been identified for the relief work.
