Kohima District Athletic Association to celebrate Javelin Day

DIMAPUR — The Kohima District Athletic Association (KDAA) has announced that it will celebrate Javelin Day on August 9, with the rest of India. This is in regard to notification issued by the Nagaland Athletics Association (NAA) to commemorate the achievement of Neeraj Chopra in the Tokyo Olympics.

To mark the occasion, the KDAA will organise javelin competition for both boys and girls for the categories U-12, U-14 and U-16, while the NAA will sponsor prizes for the top 3 winners, updated a press release.
