Kohima College organises workshop on entrepreneurship development
Dimapur, Dec. 12 (EMN): Kohima College Kohima conducted a one-day workshop on ‘Entrepreneurial Development: Make in India’ on December 10. The programme was organised by IQAC of the college and sponsored by Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development (RJNIYD), Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Pennalur, Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu.
An update from the mass media cell of the college informed that Director of RGNIYD, Prof. Sibnath Deb congratulated the organisers for choosing a relevant topic, stating that ‘the pandemic has taught us a good lesson- to be psychologically resilient for the rest of our lives; that this will equip us to handle crisis, and that entrepreneurship is all about self-reliance, though the crisis has caused unprecedented problems’.
He encouraged the participants to aspire for a future that contributes to national development and added that RGNIYD inviting proposals for organising more programmes and will be pleased to sponsor any innovative projects as it has a mandate for development of youths in the Northeast. He also expressed hope that the workshop would be an eye opener for all and a platform to learn from each other.
The resource persons of the workshop were: Deep Jyoti Sonu Brahma, Founder and Director of Farm2 Food Foundation, New Delhi; Lezo Putsure, Founder and Director of EduNorthEast Pvt. Ltd.; and Neikepekho Shosahie, Management Consultant, Northeast Development Finance Cooperation Ltd.
The workshop concluded with a valedictory programme addressed by Dr. Vasanthi Rajendran, Professor Training (RGNIYD).
