Dimapur, June 22 (EMN): Kohima College Kohima held its 52nd freshers’ on June 21 at the college premises with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and coordinator of Entrepreneurs Associates (EA), Neichüte Duolo, as the special guest.
Exhorting the students, Duolo encouraged them to strive for confidence and become independent young Nagas. He said students should not depend on their parents by the age of 18 year but try to find good part time jobs for their pocket money. He advised them to change their mindset and be ready to honestly work and toil for their goals and aims.
Speech on behalf of the seniors was delivered by Keneinuo Rülho, while speech on behalf of the freshers was delivered by Akhriezo Kezo.
The induction of Kohima College Students’ Council executives was led by Ase Yalie, convenor of students welfare committee. Outgoing general secretary Manom Taiwangshu and the incoming general secretary Zapoi also spoke on the occasion.
Mesanuo Miachieo was conferred meritorious award. Megosekhono and Viboto Achumi from BA 1st semester were awarded Mr and Miss Fresher.
