KOHIMA — The Kohima Bible College (KBC) alumni meet was held on Saturday at the college campus with H Athiu, asst. professor, KBC, who led the programme, welcoming the gathering.

The college in a press release stated that Rev. Zotuo Kiewhuo, principal of KBC, who delivered the message, also informed that KBC will be celebrating its jubilee proclamation service later this year.

“Golden Jubilee in the Old Testament was a year of heavy celebration; a year of forgiveness and restoration. This is the year of celebration. We should shed tears of joy and not a tear of regret. Many talked about reaping and reaping without talking about the dynamics of sowing,” Kiewhuo said.

He also affirmed that KBC is a “strict bible college” in spiritual nurturing with activities like dawn prayer and “fasting whole night prayers.”

The principal also informed that many students who struggled with language, finance, discipline and studies during their days at KBC are “now spiritual leaders and spiritual fathers in various ministries.” He expressed delight that the college has produced a “whole lot of competent leaders in and around the world.”

He encouraged the alumni and the students to present themselves as forerunners to win souls and further challenged them to be like “rivers of living water” and go to the rest of the world.

The release further stated that KBC is the first bible college in Nagaland and the first charismatic bible college in Northeast India, and has produced “spiritual leaders who are doing very well in serving God in UK, Australia, Africa, America and European countries.”

Alumni Akhonuo Thevo, asst. professor KBC; Bishal Alvy, pastor of Chosen Church; Ruopfükhrietuo Linyü, evangelist at CRC Bayavü and others took turns to share their testimonies, reminiscing the past.

On the occasion, Dr. Kovelo Koza, presented a song and the event culminated with mass prayer for the alumni, KBC, sponsors, and well-wishers of KBC for their prosperity, visitation of God, protection, spiritual peace and mass revival during the scheduled golden jubilee celebration.
