Kohima, Feb. 26 (EMN): A Kohima-based organisation by the name of ‘Keep Our City Clean’ (KOCC) along with few bikers organised a social work from Razhü Point – BOC – High School junction in Kohima on Friday morning.
Khriehuzo Lohe, convenor of KOCC, encouraged the two-wheeler taxi riders saying, “they are one of most effective educators for creating awareness” as they are all stationed in the heart of the city at different locations.
While asking them to participate in such events in the coming days, he acknowledged them for coming forward for participation despite the cold weather.
According to Lohe, the participants also “educated the passers-by and vendors not” to litter the city by throwing wastes elsewhere except at the designated dustbins.
