KMC to issue car stickers for traffic control

 Dimapur, July 22 (EMN): The Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) and Kohima Smart City Development Limited will be issuing car stickers containing name of the owner and contact number for better traffic sense in Kohima town. Car owners will now be required to write their names and contact numbers and paste it on their cars for emergency calls, informed an update from KMC. The entire 19 wards Panchayats under Kohima Municipal area will be made to engage the citizens in sensible car parking for assisting in reduction of traffic congestion and mismanagement in the city. KMC has informed that 300 each stickers will be distributed to all the 19 wards, 500 to secretariat, and 200 each to DC and SP. A few hundred will be given to taxi, buses, traffic volunteers etc., it stated.
