[dropcap]A[/dropcap]s part of the Republic Day celebration 2015, Kohima Municipal Council team led by its Administrator, Kovi Meyase visited Jo Foundation and extended gifts both in cash and kind.
Speaking at the event, Meyase said that Jo Foundation was a unique school catering to the needs of the differently-abled children and expressed his appreciation and gratefulness towards the Foundation for playing a vital role in moulding the future of these children. He also applauded the teachers specially the ones who looked after the students with special needs for their valuable work and sacrifices.Chairman of the Foundation, Daniel Thong Seb while giving a brief review of the Foundation informed that many children in the Foundation had some degree of disabilities such as learning and physical disabilities and Down syndrome. Daniel added, that Jo Foundation with its dedicated staff were making all possible efforts to cater to the needs of these children and was confident that eventually the children will become contributors to the society .
