DIMAPUR — The Kuki Literature Board Nagaland (KLBN) conducted teachers’ training on Kuki Paojui (Grammar) at KCCNS head office in Molvom under Chümoukedima on February 20 and at Kuki Baptist Church in Ahthibung town under Peren district on March 9. The training was sponsored by Kuki Christian Church Nagaland Synod.
A KLBN press release issued by its secretary, Lienkhohao Chongloi, stated that the training was inaugurated by Rev. Chungpao Khongsai, KCCNS executive secretary in Molvom, while Palal Misao, secretary development, inaugurated the programme in Ahthibung, while the welcome speech was delivered by H Singsit, KLBN chaiman.
The resource persons were Hatjaphal Singson, L Gangte, Lienkhohao Chongloi and Satkholun Hangsing. Representatives from Customary Board and Kuki Inpi Nagaland attended the event as the special invitees.
After the training, the trainers as well as trainees shared their views and opinions regarding Kuki Paojui (Grammar). After the success of the training programme at Molvom and Ahthibung, a benediction was said by Rev. David Vaiphei, executive secretary of Kuki Baptist Association, Nagaland, and Rev. Nehlal Simte, secretary of Chalkot Gamkai Kuki Christian Church.
Altogether, 65 trainees including 32 in Ahthibung and 33 in Molvom attended the training.
