Kohima, Nov. 04 (EMN): The Kohima Lakhuti Baptist Khumshum organised a special prayer service and year-ending fellowship along with their ‘in-laws’ on Nov.4 at Capital Convention Centre, Kohima.
Sharing the word of God at the service, City Church Kohima pastor, Kedo Peseyie dwelled on the book of Ephesians 4:1-15 and underscored the need for all to abide by the calling of unity and make it a reality in their lives, in fellowships and in their churches.
He also categorically explained the appeal for unity, basis of the appeal, unity in diversity and power and promise of unity.
Earlier, Lawrence Yanthan invoked God’s blessing and welcome address was delivered by EH Lotha, retired director of agriculture department. On behalf of the ‘in-laws’, Thungdemo Kithan and Mhonbeni C Kikon exhorted the gathering. A special song was presented by Thechano Kikon.
