Dimapur, Sep. 28 (EMN): French startup Klaxoon has launched an interactive meeting tool called Board today.
Unlike other traditional video call apps, Board lets users use a visual interface to help share ideas while on video conference with other members of the team.
The idea is for users to work on a shared canvas so that they can upload presentations and share ideas with the team more efficiently.
Video call apps like Microsoft Teams, Google Meet and Zoom can be launched directly from Board to let users enjoy Board’s interactive shared canvas while on a call using a different video call app.
Users can also use Klaxoon’s own video-conferencing service called Live but there is a limit to the number of persons Live can host and a maximum time limit of 30 minutes.
Board’s visual workspace is accessible via smartphone, tablet or computer with features that allow teams to express their creativity. It allows for a smooth transition between audio and video to promote real-time synchronisation, information-sharing, and what Klaxoon calls the establishment of new “collaborative rituals”.
While using Board, other people on calls are visible as small thumbnails on the right side of the screen. The majority of the screen space will be taken up by a digital whiteboard where users can write texts, share videos or insert images.
