Wokha, July 4 (EMN):
One kitchen was completely razed to the ground in a devastating fire which broke out on Saturday morning at around 8:30 am in Liphanyan village under Wokha district.

The kitchen belonged to one Wozamo Odyuo and the cause of the fire could not be ascertained at the time of filing this report as the family members were out for work when the incident took place.

It was informed that the fire, which first started from the kitchen, also gutted part of the living room. The villagers, after noticing the incident, rushed to the site and put the fire under control and prevented from spreading to adjoining structure.

It was further informed that properties worth several lakhs were damaged in the fire.
