Dimapur, Jan. 4 (EMN): Kiruphema students’ union (KSU) has held its 43rd general conference on January 4 in Kiruphema Basa under Kohima district with Savilie Kruneilie, property secretary of Angami Public Organisation (APO), as the special guest.
Speaking at the occasion, Savilie Kruneilie complimented KSU for attaining 43rd glorious years. Terming education as the most powerful weapon in this modern era, he advised the students to wisely utilise their time in studies in order to scale higher level. He also urged the students to face competitive exams saying, “Failure should not discourage you.”
He called upon the students to learn the history and tradition of forefathers and at the same time learn about the changes taking place at present time.
Highlighting on the facilities provided by modern technologies, Savilie advised the students to wisely utilised them to their advantage and excel in life. He also cautioned that they could become victims if they wrongly utilise the facilities.
The conference also saw awards given to meritorious students in two categories (Class PPJ-7) sponsored by KSU and (Class VIII and above) sponsored by Service Kiruphema Association.
