Dimapur, Sep. 11 (EMN): Kiphire district task force for Covid-19 has made it mandatory for every citizen to wear face mask, maintain social distancing and use hand-sanitisers.
The decision to this effect was taken during its meeting held at DPDB hall, Kiphire, on September 9 under the chairmanship of the ADC Nyempo Wallim, a DIPR report stated on Wednesday.
The house has agreed to allow all churches to open after September 21 by following the SOP issued by the government. The house has also advised persons above 65 years of age, pregnant women and children below 10 years to stay at home.
The house further resolved that any person entering Kiphire would be allowed home quarantine if she/ he has a single room attached with washroom. For those who do not have suitable room for home quarantining, they may opt for institutional quarantine.
It further resolved that restaurants, salons and barber shops would be allowed to open and function subjected to strict adherence to the SOP.
