Kiphire planning board felicitates students

Dimapur June 15 (EMN): Kiphire District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) felicitated students of various schools under Kiphire district on their success in the recently conducted board examination on June 12 at USBLA Retreat Centre, Arehintre. Thuyo Lichungse Sangtam from Saramati Higher Secondary School secured 95 percent in Science, while Longdiba Sangtam from Loyala Higher Secondary School secured 95 percent in Mathematics, and Leo S Sangtam from Zisaji Presidency College secured 74.60 percent. Under Government High Schools in Kiphire district, Thelemcha from Pungro Government Higher Secondary School secured the highest aggregate marks in the HSLC examination. A DIPR report stated that minister of soil and water, geology and mining and chairman of DPDB Kiphire, Kashiho Sangtam, gave away certificates and incentives to all the toppers. Kashiho encouraged the students to have determination to secure good position even in the near future. He also urged the parents to care for their children and to bring them up to be a better person in the society as they are the leaders of the future.
