Kiphire DRDA donates PPE to medical department

Dimapur, Aug. 21 (EMN): The Kiphire District Rural Development Agency (DRDA) led by its Project Director T Setsathong Sangtam donated 776 personal protective equipment (PPE) kits to the medical department on Saturday, informed an update from district media officer.

During the handing-over programme, Deputy Commissioner Abhinav Shivam lauded the medical department for doing a commendable job in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.

He assured that the district administration is always ready to lend a helping hand as and when the department needs them, while urging the medical department to work together to contain the novel coronavirus.

Meanwhile, Chief Medical Officer Dr. E Motsuthung Patton expressed gratitude to the DRDA for coming forward at a time when the department needs the co-operation of every department. He also mentioned that the department has been giving its best in fighting the Covid-19.
