DIMAPUR — The monthly District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) meeting of Kiphire was held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of MLA and chairman of DPDB Kiphire, C Kipili Sangtam.
According to a DIPR report, reviewing the last meeting minutes, the board members deliberated on the improvement and maintenance of town roads in Kiphire Hq. Consequently, the assistant urban development officer was directed to coordinate with the administrator of the Town Committee of Kiphire for further necessary actions.
The members also discussed the upgrading of Government High School to Government Higher Secondary School, which was approved for further action. Regarding the construction of DB’s customary court at Kiphire HQ, the Chairman assured that the matter would be taken up and pursued with the government for necessary action.
During the meeting, the Land Resources department presented its activities via PowerPoint.
