Kiphire District Planning and Development Board meeting held
DIMAPUR — The monthly meeting of the District Planning and Development Board (DPDB), Kiphire, was held on January 5 at DC conference hall in Kiphire, chaired by Deputy Commissioner and Vice Chairman of DPDB Kiphire, John Tsulise Sangtam.
According to a DIPR report, Sangtam stated during the meeting that attendance would be strictly enforced and that all members should be present at all meetings. He also asked the members to share their plans and ideas, as well as to be diligent in their assigned tasks.
He urged the heads of offices to be present at the station to ensure the smooth operation of their respective offices as well as for the benefit of the public.
The house discussed on the occasion the proposal for construction of a panchayat hall under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Vikas Karyakram (PMJVK) scheme carried out by the department of Minority Affairs, while Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Kiphire, presented a PowerPoint presentation.
The meeting discussed the upcoming Republic Day celebration and distributed work to the line departments, urging them to work together to ensure the programme’s success.
During the meeting, Sangtam released a book titled ‘Technology Assessment Through on-Farm Trials for Kiphire District’ written by Dr. N Khumdemo Ezung.
