Kiphire discusses various agenda including reopening of school

Dimapur, Nov. 14 (EMN):  District Task Force (DTF) Kiphire discussed several agenda related to Covid-19 at its review meeting under the chairmanship of DC Ajit Kumar Ranjan on Friday at the DC’s Chamber.

An update from DIPR informed that the following agenda were discussed in the meeting:

- To prepare facility quarantine at DUDA guest house.

- To take care of food and its preparation at CCC by the district administration.

- To prepare Covid-19 fund contribution expenses.

- Reopening of school for the higher classes will be operated on students voluntary basis.

Presenting overall Covid-19 related case in the district, Dr. Dheni informed that total positive patients from Kiphire district was 23 but all have recovered and there is no positive cases currently. He also informed that Kiphire has not recorded any Covid-19 related death so far.

Dheni said that 13 beds in general ward have been kept ready which can further be increased to treat any suspected Covid-19 patients.
