PEREN — 18-year-old Kimkhailiu Pamai from Pranab Vidyapith Higher Secondary School was crowned Miss Peren 2023 during an event held at Peren town.
The 14th Miss Peren organised by Peren District Beauty and Aesthetic Society (PDBAS) was held on the theme "Empowering women through Pageantry".
[bsa_pro_ad_space id=1]An update informed that the event was graced by Keyirangding Hegui, NCS, ADC, Peren. He encouraged young women to use such platforms, step out of their comfort zones and strive towards the progress of society. He said being in the pageant itself is a contribution to the community.
Kimkhailiu Pamai also won the subtitle "Miss Best Ramp Walk". Zudao Newmai and Heibale were crowned 1st and 2nd runner-up respectively. Heibale also won Miss Congeniality and Miss Photogenic while Miss Beautiful Skin was won by Lungheigumle Kenn and the Best Evening Gown was won by Miss Rampaulungningpeule.
The panel of judges for the event were Atu Zumvü, NPS, SDPO, Peren as the chief judge; Dr. Tiakala, SMO, DH, Peren; Neitho Khamo, HR & MM, BASN; Ngauzeulungbe, DIS, Peren; and Idi Ngia, Asia's Youngest Diamond Director and founder of AAB Entrepreneurs.
