Kigwema villagers sensitised on ill effects of plastic

On the awareness session TCG sensitized the villagers on hazardous effects of plastics to human health, land, and air pollution. The participants were encouraged using environment friendly bags. The village council, church leader, youth organization and the women society pledged to support the campaign. They village also said to have expressed their desired to declare the village as ‘free plastic village’ soon.
