Kidnapped Dimapur boy rescued in Rajasthan

DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 11

A boy aged around 12-13 years from Dimapur, who was kidnapped in the year 2007 along with another boy Moa, was rescued by the Government Observation-cum-Child Home, Purami AAbadi, Sriganganagar, Rajasthan from the house of one Delip Sony Kumar at Sri Dungagarh in Rajasthan.
President of Youth Initiative for Development (YIFD) Ngapunyi Albert Krocha, in a press communique today, said the boy had forgotten all his identity, parents’ names and his address. He is now known as Vikas, a name given by the accused. Vikas and Moa were kept in a 4 X 4 ft room from 2007 till 2010.
In the year 2010, they tried to escape from the clutches of their kidnappers. While Moa managed to run away, Vikas was caught again.
Vikas was rescued on August 5 and is being kept at the Government Observation-cum-Child Home, Purami AAbadi, Sriganganagar, Rajasthan.
