Dimapur, May 3 (EMN): A new village gate in Khriezephe was inaugurated on May 2. The inaugural plaque was unveiled by Sashirenla Imchen, Block Development Officer (BDO), RD Block, Chumoukedima, as the chief guest.
The inaugural prayer was led by pastor Velazo Shijoh by invoking God’s blessing on all who passes through the gate.
Speaking on the occasion, Sashirenla, apprised the chairmen, GBs, and village functionaries about the numerous programmes that would soon reach the public under MGNREGA and GPDP schemes. She encouraged every village leader to be hard working and be self-reliant.
Sashirenla also urged the village officials to furnish their given projects on time, adding that RD department was working hard to assist the various villagers under Chumoukedima block to be self reliant.
During the programme, history of Khriezephe village was highlighted by Timikha Koza, advocate and president of Tenyimia People’s Organisation (TPO). The benediction was offered by pastor Kezhangulie.
