Khriehü distributes tuition fees to 200 students

Kohima, February 7

[dropcap]I[/dropcap]n a goodwill gesture, Parliamentary Secretary for Youth Resources and Sports and Advisor Music Task Force, Khriehu Liezietsu today distributed yearly tuition fee to 200 students from his constituency 10-Northern Angami-I A/C under the Local Area Development Fund (LADF). The amount was handed over by his father and NPF president Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu at the private residence near IG Stadium here.
The tuition fees amounting to Rs. 5000 each student was being given to children whose parents are financially weak and facing problems in supporting their children to go to schools.

Handing over the amount, Dr. Shürhozelie expressed the hope that the parents would utilize the money for the good cause of educating their children and mould them up to be better citizens of the state in the future.
It was Dr. Shürhozelie who initiated the gesture while being a minister in the DAN-I and DAN-II government under the LADF and is carried ahead by his son Khriehu.
