Kohima, Nov. 24 (EMN): A new village called ‘Tsonzunphen’ under Tseminyu district was inaugurated by R Khing, advisor of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services and Women Resources Development, on November 23 last. This is the 40th village under Tseminyu district.
The inaugural programme was graced by host of dignitaries from the state government, NDPP central and region leaders and village leaders.
Addressing the gathering, Khing wished the citizens of the village a blessed and a prosperous life in the different fields. He also appealed them to make Tsonzunphen a model village.
T Semy, OSD to CM; Dr. Zasekuolie Chusi, deputy commissioner of Tseminyu; Rev. G Khing, director Asian Soul Winners; Kegwasin Keppen, chairman RVCCF also spoke at the function.
The programme was chaired by Dr. Philip Kent, while the welcome address was delivered by David Tsela. Pastor Elvis Khing invoked God’s blessing, while the vote of thanks was proposed by Gwaruno Khing.
