Khango completes 60 years in Naga national service

DIMAPUR — Khango-led NSCN/GPRN has greeted its president, Lt. Gen. (retired) Khango Konyak, on his 60th anniversary in the Naga national service and wished him success in his future endeavours.

“Your spirit of bravery, sacrifices and resilience exhibit the indomitable human spirit enduring impact in the history of Naga nation,” an update through its MIP stated.

While sharing the achievement with all the countrymen, NSCN/GPRN requested all the churches, prayer warriors and Naga people to support its president, Lt. Gen. (retired) Khango Konyak, in their prayers for his good health, and long life so that under his leadership, Nagas might achieve a long-lasting solution to the protracted issue.

Brief profile of Lt. Gen. (retired) Khango Konyak

1. Joined the Naga national service in 1963.

2. Ali (foreign) command and training in Pakistan in 1966.

3. Ali (foreign) command in China in 1976.

4. Naga army up to the rank of Lieut. General.

5. Honorary most decorated General in Naga Army.

6. Vice President in 2011.

7. President from 2017 to till date.
