Kohima — Advisor of CAWD and Taxes, Kudecho Khamo, on Thursday, inspected the various general administration (GA) works, DC office, ADC office and EAC headquarters in Phek district.
He was accompanied by Sungtiba Amer, CAWD executive engineer, and other officials from CAWD. This was Khamo’s second phase of visit to GA’s work in Nagaland after he took charge as the advisor of CAWD.
The objective of the tour was to visit all the districts of Nagaland and inspect the various works under general administration and also to understand the challenges faced by the administration in the remote areas of the state.
On Thursday, the advisor inspected the ongoing construction of ADC office in Chozuba town. Observing the slow pace of the construction works, Khamo urged the contractor to expedite the construction works so as to facilitate the administration in providing better service to the public.
Khamo also inspected the ongoing construction of ADC quarters and exuded hope that the concerned contractor would be able to complete the project on time.
Later, he visited the GA rest house and EAC office in Chetheba town, Sekruzu headquarters, Khuza headquarters, Zuketsa headquarters and Pfutsero ADC office and oversaw the conditions of the facilities and the offices.
At the district headquarters in Phek town, Khamo visited the DC office complex, GA rest house and DC quarters accompanied by the deputy commissioner of Phek, Kumar Ramnikant.
