- DIMAPUR — In the
ongoing Frolic Cup, the semi-finals were held on Thursday at Local Ground,
Medziphema, where Khaibung Youth & Students Union (KYSU) and Medziphema FC
booked their spots in the final.
- Arap scored the only goal of the match to help KYSU defeat United
Falcon Club (UFC) 1–0 in the first semi-final of the 9th Frolic Cup. The goal
came in the 26th minute after KYSU had absorbed early pressure from UFC.
Despite UFC’s attempts to equalise in the second half, KYSU’s defence remained
solid, with timely clearances and interceptions.
- In the second semi-final, Medziphema FC came from behind to
beat Medziphema Village Youth Organisation (MVYO) 3–1.

- MVYO took the lead just 25 seconds into the match through
striker Vikholie Chase. Medziphema FC equalised early in the second half with a
header from Manton in the 45th minute. Kanumdi then scored from long range
before Toka added a third in the 70th minute to complete the turnaround.
- The final will be played on April 11. Kick-off is scheduled
for 2 pm.
