(EM Images)[/caption] Our Correspondent Kohima, June 18 (EMN): In what may seem like a predominant match, Vanguard FC thrashed United FC 16 10-1 at the ongoing 3rd Seyie Auto Kohima Football League on Tuesday, June 18 at the IG Stadium in Kohima. Vanguard FC is now ahead of Forerunners FC by leading the league table with 12 points. It was an easy score for the Vanguard FC, with 10 goals against one altogether. Four of the goals came from the boot of Matthew Kezhose in the 24th, 46th, 47th, and 58th minute respectively. Yhungshalo Kemp scored two goals in the 29th and 82nd minute with Shamba Samson Konyak, Sinenlo Kath, and Nighato Sumi scoring a goal each in the 80th, 89th and 92nd minute. To add more salt to its wounds, United FC scored an own goal in the 73rd minute. The only goal for United FC’s was scored by Tianuksung in the 59th minute. United FC is yet to register a single point in the league table. District Sports Officer, Wokha, Zhopovi Zecho was the match patron of the day.
