Dimapur, March 30 (EMN): Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament from Nagaland KG Kenye has appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to make available one portable/mobile Viral Diagnostic Laboratory for Nagaland.
In a letter to Modi, the MP stated that Nagaland does not have a testing laboratory for detection of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19), “which is the single most important component to check the spread of the novel coronavirus”.
Against this backdrop, he appealed to the prime minister to “personally intervene” and airlift the portable/mobile testing device, to be installed in Nagaland immediately.
“I also appeal to expedite the sanction for the construction of a permanent Viral Diagnostic Laboratory (in Nagaland,” read the letter.
