KOHIMA — Naga artiste Vikuyole Tase, officially released her debut music video ‘Kenei Ketho Kelhou: Divine Happiness’ in Kohima on Thursday.

The music video was officially launched by Er. Kropol Vitsu, advisor of Printing and Stationary and Prison.

Tase, who chose to pursue a career in music, particularly in spreading gospel messages through her song, was praised for her resilience in composing music, despite the challenges she faced.

Vitsu described her music as “beautiful and meaningful.”

Highlighting the positive impact of music on one’s health and well-being, Vitsu lauded the role of Task Force for Music and Arts (TaFMA) in providing platforms and support for musicians.

Drawing inspiration from the Bible, Vitsu emphasised the importance of sincerity, dedication, and perseverance for artistes in various fields, cautioning against the pitfalls of pride.

Vitsu emphasised the growing significance of music in people’s lives and its potential as a substantial industry for employment and economic generation.

He also highlighted the diverse employment opportunities within the music industry, such as managerial roles, sound engineering, and electricians, among others.

Vitsu encouraged Tase to maintain her connection with God as she seeks further success in her music career.

Tase shared insights into the creation of her music video, revealing that it took her nine months to compose ‘Kenei Ketho Kelhou’, a Tenyidie music piece, and an additional four months to complete the music video, which was shot in the picturesque paddy fields of Jakhama village in the southern Angami area.

The song, based on Matthew 7:7, is her first original composition and was composed and performed by the artiste herself.

Following the launch event, the music video is now uploaded to her YouTube channel @Vikuyole Tase.

The artiste has a wide array of music video covers on her channel, encompassing contemporary and gospel genres, among others.

Tase expressed gratitude to the Almighty for the successful completion of the song and acknowledged Zekuosa Zhale’s assistance throughout the video production process. She also thanked her friends, well-wishers, and parents for their support and blessings.
