KDVA announces volleyball tournament prize money
Kohima, Oct 18 (EMN): The Kohima District Volleyball Association (KDVA) has announced prize money for the upcoming 9th Kohima Open Volleyball Tournament 2022 for both men and women.
The tournament is scheduled to be held from November 9 to the 12th at Indira Gandhi Stadium (IGS), Kohima.
From this year onwards, there will be no players’ restriction and the tournament is open to all.
Total cash prize have been set at INR 2.16 lakhs. Last date for submission of form is November 5. Forms can be availed at Royal Enfield High School Junction, Kohima and Sports World, Main Town, Kohima
Cash prizes in the men’s category are: champion (INR 70,000), runner up (INR 40,000) and losing semi finalists (INR 10,000). In the women’s category, the cash prizes are: champion (INR 40,000), runner up (INR 20,000) and losing semi finalist (INR 10,000).
Player of the tournament in men’s and women’s categories will receive INR 3000 and INR 3000 respectively.
