KDTTA declares results of Kohima District TT Championship
Winners of the 13th Kohima District Table Tennis Championship-cum-Veterans Open with the organizers on August 16.

DIMAPUR — The 13th Kohima District Table Tennis Championship-cum-Veterans Open concluded at the Kohima Indoor TT Stadium on Aug. 16, with Seyievilie Seyie emerging as the champion for the fifth consecutive time.

The tournament was organised to promote the discipline of table tennis sport which Nagas have the potential to excel, the Kohima District Table Tennis Association (KDTTA) stated in a press release.

Prizes and certificates were distributed by senior table tennis masters Temjensoba Jamir, Vikuo Metha, Vitho Neikha (president NTTA) and Lhoulievi Belho (president KDTTA).

Men’s singles: Seyievilie Seyie (winner), Kelhouravi Vivian Rutsa (runner-up)

Women’s singles: Thejavinuo Rio (winner), Vichaduonuo Rame (runner-up)

Junior boys’ (Under-19): MhasiviMiachie-o (winner), Nirmal Ale (runner-up)

Singles 40+ (Veterans): Kevirielie Dzuvichu (winner), Bendangwati (runner-up)

Singles 50+ (Veterans): Dr. JuthsuthoPoji (winner), Victor Ezung (runner-up)

Doubles Open Category: Tsakhe Kenye and Seyievilie Seyie (winners), Imlinungba Jamir and Kevirielie Dzuvichu (runners-up)

Doubles (Veterans): Victor Ezung and Dr. Juthsutho Poji (winners), Kethosilie Belho and Moalong Lemtor (runners-up)
