Kohima District Basketball Associationlaunches jerseys for district teams

Kohima, Aug. 21 (EMN): The Kohima District Basketball Association (KDBA) on Sunday launched jerseys for both the men’s and women’s teams to represent the district in the 2nd edition of Nagaland Olympic.

Vice president KDBA, Medozhatuo Rutsa, launched the jerseys for team Kohima in the presence of players and officials here at Vivid Lounge.

He thanked the government of Nagaland and Nagaland Olympic Association for creating a platform for Naga youth in sports. He further requested the government to encourage sports so that Olympians are produced from the state in the future.

Rutsa also said that there is a career in sports in Nagaland and urged players to keep on playing while maintaining discipline and also grab the opportunity that comes in their way.
