KCCI interacts with the Governor

Dimapur, Sep. 4 (EMN): On the invitation of the Governor of Nagaland, RN Ravi, the Kohima Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) had an interaction with him on September 4 at the Raj Bhavan.
KCCI, in a joint press release issued by its president, Medozhatuo Rutsa, and the information secretary, Kaihrü Henry Chisüte, stated that KCCI had apprised him of the present activities taken up by the organisation. It stated that the organisation had also highlighted on the challenges and issues faced by the entrepreneurs and the business communities.

While expressing their gratitude for his invitation and concern, KCCI also requested the Governor to have a joint sitting with some of the major organisations working in the areas for a first hand information of the various setbacks, hurdles and challenges faced by young and upcoming entrepreneurs.

KCCI stated that the Governor had given patient hearing and assured to co-operate in whatever way possible. KCCI also reiterated on the government’s resolution by informing all traders to completely abstain and ban the selling and using of plastic bags from October 1.
