Dimapur, March 15 (EMN): The office of the Kohima Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) has vehemently condemned the daylight robbery and threat perpetrated by some armed miscreants at Theja Agency (Petrol pump) located at Secretariat road, on March 10.
KCCI stated that such dastardly act not only traumatized the employees but also create fear psychosis to the public, and added that the business community cannot operate in an atmosphere of threats to their life and property.
As such, the organization appealed to the law enforcing agencies to immediately apprehend the perpetrators and deliver justice according to the laws of the land at the earliest. KCCI reiterated its stand that any form of threat, intimidation, use of force and coercion or summons to the business community or traders by any organizations in the name of taxation will invite non co-operation from the business community.
