Dimapur, August 1 (EMN): The Christian Education Ministry, Kumlong Baptist Church (KBC) conducted seminar, Ayimba T Longchar cartoonist of Ao Milen; Rev I Lima Jamir pastor of KBA; Lanukumzuk, Longrangty Longchar; Lanumeren; Aongsen Aier; Nochang Longchar and teachers Wapangchila and Nukshinaro as resource persons.
During the seminar, children were given the choice to select nine fields such as writing, social work, cartoon drawing, handicrafts, and hygiene among others, assisted by the Sunday school teachers.
The children were enlightened on the different topics of their choice by the resource persons.
It may be mention that KBC, which covers broth the Kumlong and Mongsenbai wards of Mokokchung town, is one of the biggest churches in Mokokchung. The Christian Education Ministry of KBC conducts different programs from time to mould children not only spiritually but also to become responsible members of the society. Today’s seminar began with an invocation prayer by Rev I Lima Jamir, the pastor of KBC.
Meanwhile, the Associate Pastor of CEM, KBC, Moanaro Imchen expressed heartfelt gratitude to the resource persons, the children and the Church for the successful holding of seminar.
