Kuki Baptist Association organises camp for widows

[caption id="attachment_275848" align="aligncenter" width="565"] Seen in the picture are widows along with the KBA women department officials during the three-day programme in Ahthibung town under Peren district.[/caption] Dimapur, Oct. 8 (EMN): Women department of the Kuki Baptist Association (KBAWD) organised a widows’ camp titled ‘Meithai’ at Kuki Baptist Church (KBC), Ahthibung, from October 3 to the 6th. An update from Chungminthang Singson stated that Rev. Dr. Thienkim Singson, director of Missions and Evangelism, Church of Nazarene International, was the resource person, while Lhingboi Sitlhou was the guest artiste. He stated that a total of 130 widows from different churches and denominations participated in the three-day camp, which was solely sponsored by DP Haokip, chief commissioner of income tax department, Indore. Neisy Henga, KBAN secretary of women department, and Veilam Hangsing, KBAN chairperson of women department were the programme co-ordinators. Meanwhile, KBAWD has expressed gratitude to those who have contributed in making the programme a grand success.
