Karbi Lammet Amei’s annual conference concludes

DIPHU — The four day-long Karbi Lammet Amei, the annual conference of Karbi literary body, concluded on Sunday.

Liladhar Teron of KLA Central Committee thanked all the participants and delegates from the sub-branches and regional committees of Karbi Lammet Amei for the success of the event and expressed happiness over the inclusion of six tribal communities -- Mising, Rabha, Karbi, Tiwa, Deori and Dimasa -- as a medium of instruction (MoI) in the foundational stage of education in line with provision of National Education Policy, 2020. 

He added that the cabinet decision made on February 23 on the matter was commendable as it is  one of the long-standing aspirations of the KLA.
