Karbi Anglong: ‘Rajlaxmi and The Band’ releases new song

DIPHU —‘Rajlaxmi and the band’ has released a tribute song ‘Bong oi Alun’ to the former chairman of Diphu Town Committee (now, Diphu Municipal Board) and a popular folk fusion musician late Daniel Ingti.

The song was formally released by Padmashree Dhaneswar Engti in the presence of the late Ingti’s family at the Central Committee office of the Karbi Students Association (KSA Inglongpho) on Wednesday.

Padmashree Dhanewsar Engti said, ‘Daniel Engti was a legendary musician and a good composer, we have lost a great musician.’

Talking to the media, vocalist Rajlaxmi Bora expressed that she decided to complete the song ‘Bong oi Alun’ which was started by Daniel Ingti and herself

She thanked well-wishers and the band member Jimmy, Thong, Paul, Sar-Im and Longsong for contributing to song.

The video was done by Jirdat Engleng.

The song will also be released on her Youtube channel ‘RD Production’.
