Karbi Anglong police seizes drugs worth INR 1 crore

Diphu, Aug. 3 (EMN): In a major development, Karbi Anglong police seized drugs worth approx. INR 1 crore and arrested two drug peddlers at Diphu-Dhansiri road under Diphu Police Station on Monday. The arrested persons were identified as Aftab Hussain and Sabir Hussain.

According to police sources, the consignment was brought in a Scorpio car from Nagaland to be delivered in Karimganj. The consignment was hidden inside a petrol tank. In order to keep the consignment safe, the petrol tank was divided into two compartments, it was informed.
