Kaiminthang Singson is Mr. Chümoukedima 2023

DIMAPUR — The crowning of Mr. Chümoukedima Season 2 was held at Nagaland Bamboo Resource Centre, Chümoukedima, on Sep. 30.

Kaiminthang Singson of St. Joseph Hr. Sec. School, Chümoukedima, was crowned Mr. Chümoukedima season 2, while Yimwapang Jamir of Tetso College, and Keneingulie Kuotsu of St. Joseph Hr. Sec. School, were declared first runner-up and second runner-up, respectively.

An update issued on Monday informed that the event was organised by Meraki Entertainment, in association with Hotel Season, and powered by Almighty Nagaland.

Meraki Entertainment informed that all three winners will get a direct entry to the third edition of Mister Nagaland Man Hunt, the biggest manhunt in the state.

Miss Nagaland second runner-up Jentiren Jamir attended the occasion as a special guest.

Toshizen Longkumer, choreographer and season pageant coach; Supou Khiam, entrepreneur and social worker; Talikaba Longkumer, president of Blue Curve; Vitoka Assumi, Mr. Dimapur first runner-up 2022; Theja Sekhose, founder and director TS Academy of Design Kohima and Dr. Nukshi Esther, founder of Institute of Technology Counselling and Educational Research, were the judges of the event.

The contestants were also judged for a series of sub-awards. Kaiminthang Singson won the Mr. Popularity title; Yimwapang Jamir won two titles – Mr. Multi Media and Best Ethnic Wear, and Keneingulie Kuotsu won the Mr. Best Walk.

A total of 15 contestants vied for the title and went through three rounds- ethnic wear, designer and formal.

Tonoto Zhimomi groomed, mentored and choreographed the contestants with Bashing Nyam as the contestant manager. The designer of the event was ATM Sueshe while Nito Aye and Toreechi Jane were the hairstylist and makeup artist, respectively.

Various performances were presented in the grand finale by Keneisenuo Sorhie, Khumtiba Mongzar, Aghali T Aye and Kings Generation.

The event was hosted by Imnasenla Rachel.
