Diphu, May 13 (EMN): The Karbi Anglong and Dimapur Transporters' Association (Kadta) has strongly condemned the action of the self-styled advisor of Sand Mahaldars Suppliers Association (SMSA) Jackson Kramsa for implicating Longkiri Tisso, the publicity secretary of Karbi Anglong Sand Supplier Association (KASSA) as an 'illegal sand supplier'.
A press release issued by its president Anil Toppo and secretary Nito Sum stated that it sought the attention of the law-enforcing agency as to how this 'dadagiri' style of illegal tax collection was allowed right in front of their noses in the guise of SMSA from the sand transporters.
The association strongly condemned Jackson’s false charges against a genuine bonafide sand supplier and demanded immediate arrest of Jackson Kramsa along with his boy who were collecting illegal taxes on sand suppliers at Manja. Further, the statement also mentioned that if the demand was not fulfilled at the earliest, the association along with Karbi Students' Union and KASSA would take its own course of action and it would not be responsible for any untoward incident.
