KAAC sets new timing for educational institutions in Karbi Anglong

DIPHU — The Department of Primary Education of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) has issued a notification following soaring temperature in the region.

The order informed that the school timing of educational institutions (lower primary) has been set from 7:30 am to 12:30 pm till August.

The change in timing was made in view of soaring heat and prevailing heat wave in the whole of the state particularly in the districts of Karbi Anglong and West Karbi Anglong.

The temperature in Karbi Anglong during the last couple of days has been on the rise especially in Diphu with over 38-39 degree Celsius.
