KAAC releases MGNCRE’s poster as part of National Entrepreneurship month

Diphu, Oct. 13 (EMN): As part of the Mahatma Gandhi National Council of Rural Education (MGNCRE) National Entrepreneurship month from Oct. 19 till Nov. 20 by the department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India, a consent letter has been sent to the Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC), Executive Member (EM) in charge Higher Education, Richard Tokbi.

As part of the upcoming observance, a MGNCRE’s poster on competition on Entrepreneurship at his KAAC’s official chamber was released in Diphu on Thursday.

While inaugurating the posters, EM Tokbi said that skill development is part of education, where the higher students can go with the momentum of education and will be able to learn food processing, weaving, and many more while asserting that the initiative taken up by the government is highly appreciable.

During the observation period, the higher education institution of every district have been directed to promote vocational education skills and entrepreneurship by forming and following up on institutional cells like social entrepreneurship, sustainability, and rural engagement cell in social work colleges, vocational Educational Nai Talim and experiential learning cell in Education College, and Rural entrepreneurship development cell in Management institution.
