Diphu, Sep. 14 (EMN): The members of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) has given a warm welcomed with the Karbi Poho (Scarf) which was led by Chief Executive Member (CEM) Tuliram Ronghang at Diphu circuit house.
Later on in the evening hour conclave on various topics was held at Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council, Secretariat Conference hall, Tuliram Ronghang CEM, KAAC accompanied by Horensing Bey, Chairman, KAAC warmly welcomed by felicitating with the Karbi Poho, Karbi Jamburong (Karbi traditional bag) and Karbi Jacket in the presence of Executive Members (EMs) , Member of Council (MACs) and Arun Terang, President, BJP West Karbi Anglong District.
During the conclave Ronghang has read out Sixth Schedule to the Constitution Book infront of Jamwal appraising of various issues existing in the district. Moreover, Ronghang also urged that the strong message to the central govt. be conveyed for immediate implementation of Article 244(A) to the India constitution, the Direct Funding from Central Government to the Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council, and other various issues was discussed.
