KA to make HSRP mandatory in all vehicles

Diphu, June 6 (EMN): Going by the order of the Supreme Court, the District Transport Officer (DTO) of Karbi Anglong has asked both private and commercial vehicles to fit the High security registration plate (HSRP) in their vehicles.

DTO Shidhartha K Saikia requested all to follow the order while expressing that the order should be implemented by August 31 2018. He said that those failing to comply with the order within the stipulated time will lead to strict action against the vehicle owners as per Supreme Court direction.
