Journey From My Heart – Rising Youth of Eastern Nagaland

With the resplendent dawn casting its golden embrace upon the land of our forefathers, I, Liose T Sangtam, Son of Eastern Nagaland, stand before you- my dear brothers, sisters, fellow patriots and the rising youth of Eastern Nagaland.

Fellow citizens of the great Eastern Nagaland, today, we stand at the threshold of history, with the opportunity to shape the destiny of our beloved motherland like never before. As the inheritors of a glorious legacy and the architects of a promising future, it is our collective responsibility, as the youth of Eastern Nagaland, to rise up and fulfil our duty towards making Eastern Nagaland a Frontier Nagaland Territory— a beacon of enlightenment, progress, and harmony for the entire nation to admire and emulate.

The concept of Frontier Nagaland embodies the idea of a developed Eastern Nagaland — where every citizen, regardless of socio economic religious background has equal opportunities to grow and prosper; a region where innovation, entrepreneurship, and creativity flourish; a region that serves as a shining example of democracy, governance and social justice to the rest of the country.

But achieving this vision requires the relentless dedication and unwavering commitment of each and every one of us. It demands that we rise above our personal interests and work together as a cohesive unit towards the greater good of the nation. It calls for us to harness the boundless energy and potential of our youth and channel it towards constructive endeavours that uplift not only ourselves but also our communities and our country.

As Eastern Naga youth, we are endowed with unique talents, perspectives, and aspirations that can contribute immensely to the development of our nation. Whether it is in the fields of science and technology, arts and culture, sports and recreation, or governance and policymaking, we have the power to effect positive change and drive our beloved India towards greater heights of success and prosperity.

But with this power comes great responsibility. We must remember that the future of our nation rests squarely on our shoulders, and it is up to us to ensure that we leave behind a legacy that future generations can be proud of.

But above all, we must never forget the principles of unity, integrity, and patriotism that bind us together as one nation, one people. In a world that is increasingly divided by narrow-mindedness and bigotry, it is our duty to uphold the constitutional values of justice, equality, liberty and fraternity.

Let us, the youth of Eastern Nagaland, pledge today to dedicate ourselves wholeheartedly to the cause of Frontier Nagaland Territory — to work tirelessly towards making Frontier Nagaland Territory in the truest sense of the word. Let us harness the power of our dreams, the strength of our convictions, and the spirit of our ancestors to build a nation that is not just great, but truly extraordinary — a nation that shines as a beacon of hope and inspiration for all humanity.
