Joint inspection of Foothills Road works scheduled for November 15

DIMAPUR — A joint inspection visit of the ongoing Foothills Road construction sites under Baghty Division, Wokha district, will be conducted on November 15.

According to the press release, the inspection team will comprise all stakeholders, including the Lotha Hoho and its subsidiaries, the Nagaland Public Works Department (Road and Bridges), contractor firms, and the media fraternity.

The visit will cover eight work orders under the Baghty Division.

The team is scheduled to depart from Dimapur at 7 am and assemble at Merapani village by 9 am. After a brief interaction following breakfast at Merapani, the team will proceed to inspect the ongoing work sites and conclude the visit at Hovekhu–Niuland via Old Ralan. Lunch will be served at Hayiyan Village between 12 noon and 1 pm.

The committee has urged the concerned department and contractor firms to extend full cooperation to ensure that the inspection is conducted in fairness.
